Dr. Baker earned his doctorate in Optometry at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. He is licensed by the Oregon Board of Optometry and has been in practice since 1987. He established his own practice in Sherwood in 1996 and has been practicing at Seaside Vision since 1998.  He is certified in the treatment and management of ocular diseases.

He practices optometry with interests in specialty contact lenses, computer vision syndrome, and laser vision correction co-management. He listens to his patient’s concerns, addresses their vision needs, visual acuity and eye health.

He explains his findings in plain English and makes recommendations to help his patients enjoy the clearest, healthiest, most comfortable vision possible. He knows that every patient leaving his office will go home with the knowledge that they have had a very thorough eye exam.

Dr. Baker resides with his wife, Kim, and their three children, Bradley, Chelsea, and Brogan. His interests include golf, basketball, skiing, softball, family activities like hiking and going to the beach. Carrot cake is his favorite dessert!

Patrick McDonald is a graduate of the Seaside High School class of 2000.  He went on to earn his Bachelor's of Science in Finance from Linfield College, class of 2004.  After college he came back to Seaside to help expand his father's business.  A staple of providing quality eye care to Seaside since 1996.  He comes from a long line of family opticians.  His Grandfather, Father and 3 Uncles were all opticians.  It is in his blood to help provide the best quality eye care to all of his customers.

Patrick specializes in eyewear selection, edging, precise multifocal measurements and eyewear adjustments.  There isn't a pair of eyeglasses he can't fit or adjust.  He takes pride in giving his customers the friendliest experience, along with a great quality product.

Patrick resides in Seaside.  His interests include golf, soccer, basketball, paddle boarding, hiking, playing with his dog on the beach, and pretty much anything else that is outdoors and athletic.
